Volunteer: Homemade Memory Bears & Pillows Needed

We are looking for individuals to sew memory bears and/or pillows upon request. Memory bears and pillows are made from sentimental clothing that belonged to loved ones on our hospice services. We have memory bear patterns available. When you give your time as a volunteer with St. Croix Hospice, you join a team of individuals dedicated to providing patient-centered care and comfort during advanced-stage illnesses. Hospice volunteers offer companionship, compassionate help and support for patients and their loved ones when they need it most. Volunteers provide an empathic, respectful and caring presence for patients and their loved ones.

The St. Croix Hospice team provides exceptional hospice care with an emphasis on quality of life. Our holistic care model offers physical, emotional and spiritual support uniquely tailored to a patient’s individual needs and wishes. When you join our team as a volunteer, you are making a difference in the lives of individuals and families right in your own community.

St. Croix Hospice is looking for individuals to make calls to bereaved loved ones of our patients that requested check-in calls.  Training is provided.  Hours are extremely flexible and calls can be made anytime from your home.
