Volunteer: Red Cross: Blood Drives (Quarterly)

Be part of our work to help save millions of lives each year by volunteering as a blood donor ambassador and welcoming donors who give the gift of life.

Blood donor ambassadors welcome donors to blood drives and provide friendly support before and after they give. This can include helping donors to register, answering their questions and assisting them at the refreshments table.

We ask that someone interested in volunteering for this position is able to commit to at least four shifts a year (average shift is 5-6 hours). .

Disaster Response Volunteers directly help people affected by disasters ranging from wildfires to hurricanes by providing food, shelter, essential relief supplies and hope. Locally, our most common disaster is home fire. The skills you learn locally are invaluable and make you more effective and efficient if you choose to deploy. You can also support disasters "behind the scenes" with planning, logistics or volunteer management.
