Volunteer: Animal Education Programs- Wild WednesdaysEach summer we do a series of animal educational programs called Wild Wednesdays. Usually they are two 45 minute programs (one at 11:00am and another at 1:00pm) for 50-200 children ranging in ages from pre-school to 5th grade. Wild Wednesdays are held at the Wildwood Station, which is in the park near the zoo, and most presenters bring live animals. Presentations start in June and run through the first part of August. Please contact me if you are interested in a fun, educational volunteer experience. T-shirts are given to each volunteer!
