Our purpose is to promote the health of people living in the Marshfield area, and to enhance community efforts by delivering effective opportunities for healthy living among multiple sectors of the community.
Mission - The mission of the Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth (MACY) is to unite and educate our community in order to reduce and prevent youth substance use while promoting healthy, resilient youth and families.
Vision - Helping to make Marshfield the best place to live and raise a family.
What We Do
Marshfield Clinic Health System serves patients through accessible, high quality health care, research and education. Marshfield Clinic Health System - Center for Community Health Advancement partners with communities to support community health improvement plans and assists in developing healthy environments that foster resilient, successful children, youth and families. Through the Center for Community Health Advancement, Marshfield Clinic Health System offers individuals and groups a variety of volunteer opportunities to improve the quality of life and health within local communities.
Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth (MACY) is a combination of concerned citizens, business people, health care professionals, schools (public and private), local government, youth-serving organizations, and civic groups from the Marshfield area who have come together to work collaboratively on the following priorities:
- Underage drinking
- Perscription drug abuse
- Heroin use
- Marijuana use
- Methamphetamine use
- Youth mental health disparities
- Anti-Bullying
- Emerging issues
