Who We Are
Pathway Partners is a United Way partner program established at Marshfield High School since 1999. The mission of Pathway Partners is "to expose high school students to nurturing relationships with caring adults and to the diversity of opportunities and experiences in our community. These experiences, having guided academic and personal development, will enhance students' life skills and enable them to make successful transitions to post high school education and employment". This is a voluntary program with students who are eager to participate! The program is free of charge to all participants.
What We Do
Pathway Partners provides both long and short term mentoring opportunities for MHS students to connect with positive adults in our Marshfield community. These opportunities include one-on-one mentoring, job shadowing and/or informational interviewing. The one-on-one mentoring experience can be long term, as an established relationship throughout a student's whole high school career. Otherwise one-on-one mentoring could also be a short term experience, as an established relationship throughout a student's high school year, or even over several meetings to accomplish a specific career exploration objective or goal. We welcome adult volunteers to participate in whatever capacity that is of interest to them.
