Who We Are
We provide a place for kids to go that is safe and fun. We encourage positive interactions. We allow kids to play and be safe. We offer snacks each day. We have the after school program named SHIP at the Spencer School. We let kids be kids.
What We Do
The purpose of Spencer Kids Group is to provide a safe, supervised place and activities for all the youth of Spencer. We have been in service for 17 years. We provide the afer-school homework program for Spencer Schools grades 2-5. We provide a summer rec. program and extend our hours to 12-6 in the summer. We do a Amateur Dog Show, trip to Wisconsin Dells, haunted house and carnival in the fall, Lunch with Santa (with the Spencer Area Chamber of Commerce), and participate in United Way's Youth Development Community Partners to improve youth success.
Mission Statement: TO PROMOTE AND HELP PROVIDE A NURTURING COMMUNITY FOR KIDS.
