C2 is currently looking for volunteer(s) that would be comfortable teaching participants ages 9-18 how to sew.
C2 currently has 7 sewing machines that we would love to use for a beginning sewing class.
The class can be weekly or bi weekly or monthly--it is really up to your schedule.
Ideally we would like you to cover:
1.) Parts of the machine
2.) Treading and setup
3.) basic stitches and seams
4.) Fabric Anatomy
5.) Reading Patterns
6.) Measurements
7.) Sewing practice
8.) Finishing Edges
9.) Complete a project (your choice).

All volunteers will need to have a background check ran and go through orientation prior to working with the participants.
