Marshfield Clinic and Healthy Lifestyles – Marshfield Area Coalition are looking for individuals that love to promote healthy living, or want to learn more about living a healthy lifestyle. Join the Healthy Lifestyles – Marshfield Area Coalition as a community ambassador!
Community ambassadors share the mission of the HL-MAC and educate the community by attending community events.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Sharing the mission of the HL-MAC in the Marshfield area community
- Attending Marshfield community events to increase awareness of the HL-MAC
- Leading community presentations about the HL-MAC (a presentation template is provided and reviewed in orientation)
- Attendance is required for one orientation session (2 hours). A community presentation or tabling is required from all ambassadors at minimum 2x per year.
This position is for you if you have:
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work with people of all ages, personalities, and backgrounds
- The ability to attend community events
- Interest in community health promotion and a desire to make your community healthier
Time Commitment
The community ambassador position is flexible and can be adjusted to your personal schedule. We expect ambassadors to volunteer for about 8-10 hours per year.
