Description

The House of the Dove Hospice House is a 12-bed facility for hospice patients. A volunteer in the kitchen will prepare patient meals as planned by the cook, deliver trays to patient rooms and clean-up.

Volunteers can choose to volunteer on a regularly scheduled basis, such as once per week or every other week, for a particular day/meal. Volunteers are especially needed for supper shifts and weekend shifts.

Shifts for kitchen volunteers are:

  • Breakfast: 7:30 - 9:30 AM
  • Lunch: 11:00 AM - 1 PM
  • Supper: 4 - 6:30 PM

Thorough training is provided.
