Who We Are
The State of WI Board on Aging and Long Term Care is an advocacy agency focused on improving the quality of life for the elderly living in WI. We advocate for the interests of WI's long term care consumers, inform those consumers of their rights, educate the public about health care systems and long term care. Our values encompass: respect and dignity for the individual; protection of their rights to be free from threats to health, safety and quality of life; fairness and transparency; and open, clear and consistent communication. Our Volunteer Ombudsman Program serves individuals ages 60 or over who are residents of nursing homes or assisted living facilities in Wisconsin.
What We Do
The mission of the Board on Aging and Long Term Care is to advocate for the interests of the state's long term care consumers, to inform those consumers of their rights, and to educate the public at large about health care systems and long term care.
