If you enjoy engaging with older adults, this opportunity could be perfect for you! We are looking for volunteer advocates to improve the lives of residents living in nursing homes and assisted living facilities located in Marshfield and the surrounding communities! As an advocate, you make weekly unannounced visits to a designated facility, observe general conditions of the facility, meet with residents to educate them about their rights, and empower residents to resolve concerns on their own. Our volunteers are friendly visitors on a mission of advocacy! Training and materials are provided, with ongoing support always available. This opportunity is flexible and visits are 1-2 hours in duration and can be made any day of the week between 8am-8pm.
